Central Vermont Eye Care is a 4900 square foot building for a local ophthalmologist and the first commercial building in Rutland to achieve LEED Certification.

The building had to fit on a tight site with extreme regulatory requirements regarding impervious surfaces. Exterior finishes were selected for long life and low maintenance.

Natural light is brought into the center of the building through clerestory lighting, providing a bright work environment in a building where lighting control is critical.

Energy efficient efforts will result in a 32% savings in operating costs over the baseline standards.
