The Weathersfield Proctor Library was a two stage project after voters rejected larger additions to the building. The first phase was completed in 2015 and filled a rear corner of the historic library to achieve an ADA compliant inclined walk and toilet room.
The second phase was constructed in 2018 on the other rear corner of the library. The addition features a Children’s Room and includes a stair to the basement. The stair also provides a direct, fire-rated exit from the basement making it usable for library activities.
