N·B·F Architects was hired to design a new 5,600 square foot addition to the existing historic fire station in West Rutland. The wood framed addition contains a 4,000 square foot drive-through vehicle bay that accommodates six trucks as well as a work room, hose storage area, and a storage room for all of the fire fighter’s gear.
The existing station will be renovated and include several offices and a meeting room with an attached kitchen. The project was completed in the summer of 2007.
